Anyone who has been around Sean Bison and Tiffany Lee has felt their love. It radiates around them. Their wedding was nothing short of magical – it wasn’t about place cards, cakes and stationary, it was about them and their love. Set in one of the most beautiful places on earth, this wedding is better than a dream.
On January 1, 2015, Sean Bison proposed to Tiffany Lee in the courtyard of London, England’s neoclassical riverside palace, Somerset House, beneath the statue of George III and Father Thames. He proposed to her with a 3-carat Cathedral Pavé Round Diamond Engagement ring in 18k white gold.
Upon returning from London, the couple began planning for a Rio de Janeiro, Brazil wedding. The couple already had a trip planned to Brazil at the end of March and decided to have an intimate wedding while there. The couple located a beautiful park, Parque Lage, and was able to coordinate with the location to have the area set aside for their wedding ceremony. Parque Lage is located in the city of Rio de Janeiro, Brazil, in the Jardim Botånico neighborhood at the foot of the Corcovado (Christ the Redeemer). The land was formerly the residence of, industrialist, Enrique Lage and his wife, opera singer, Gabriella Besanzon.
On March 25, 2015, the bride wore an ivory lace Badgley Mischka gown while the groom wore a slim-fit light beige Hugo Boss suit. The bride was accompanied down the aisle by her father, Randy Lee, with Vitamin String Quartet’s rendition of, “Faithfully”, by Journey reverberating in the background.
After the wedding, the newlyweds went to Ipanema Beach in Leblon, Rio de Janeiro, to have their first dance to Frank Sinatra and Antonio Carlos Jobim’s, “The Girl from Ipanema”.
The couple remained in Rio de Janeiro a week after the ceremony for their honeymoon, and stayed at the JW Marriott Hotel, Copacabana Beach.
On May 2, 2015, the bride’s parents hosted a post-wedding reception at The Highlands on 4th for the family and friends who were unable to join them in Brazil.
